Camouflaged in invisible dereliction
The city aches as layers sink with the weight of feet
fumbling for foothold
every day it lick its wounds before it sleeps
only to wake with an even burgeoning need to
urinate effluent of un-natured nature
so much solid stone in square miles
the city feels heavy
and longs to be lesser
to be a patch of brown dirt
littered with leaves
once a year alive with song
instead of this

Hi Maija wow what a week so far. Thankyou for your comment on our blockII.
Ash is making pretty pictures out of my urban explorations.
Ash's amazing words bely the way he truly does not like the grime and congestion and decay of the streets buildings and barriers....
Ash is turning me into a poet we are clashing and energising each other, it is challenging to respond but worth it for the adrenaline rush and bouncing off another - poweroftwo. K
